I was born in Brooklyn, New York and have lived for many years in Norwich, Vermont, where I teach American literature and Women’s, Gender and Sexuality Studies at Dartmouth College. My passions are gardening and poetry. I have published in Birchsong: Poetry Centered in Vermont, The Glass Seed Annual, Solidus 3 (with interview), and in the last four issues of Bloodroot Literary Magazine. Please check out my year long blog, White Heat, about Emily Dickinson’s life and poetry at https://journeys.dartmouth.edu/whiteheat/. It is an honor to be walking in “Do” Roberts footsteps.
